VSS Nexus

The platform behind
every shipment we move.

We got tired of customers having to phone us for a status, so we built the system we wanted to use — and then gave our customers a login to it. This is what your shipments look like from the inside.

Why it exists

Three things that used to go wrong.

Every part of VSS Nexus started as a problem a customer actually had.

01

You shouldn't have to ring us to find out where it is.

The old way was an email asking for an update, then a wait while somebody checked. Now your shipment has a live stage tracker — booked, sailing, arrival, customs, delivered — and you can open it whenever you like.

It's the same screen our operations team works from. Not a summary written for you afterwards.

02

Documents shouldn't be what delays your container.

Most expensive delays start as paperwork — a missing certificate, a value that won't hold, a mismatch nobody spotted. The system reads your bill of lading, invoice and packing list as they arrive and checks them against each other.

Then a person confirms it. We automate the reading, never the judgement.

03

You should hear about a problem from us.

A rolled sailing or a customs query is bad news either way. Hearing it first from your own buyer is worse. Milestones and exceptions go out by email and WhatsApp as they happen.

By the time you read the alert, your specialist is usually already dealing with it.

What's in it

The full picture.

Everything a shipment touches, in one place — for you and for us.

Live tracking & milestones

Stage-by-stage status on every job. Carrier milestones arrive automatically where the carrier supports it; our team adds what carriers don't publish — trucking, customs progress, delivery.

Documents in one place

Every document for a shipment on one file, read automatically and confirmed by a person. No more digging through email threads for the invoice you signed off three weeks ago.

Alerts that reach you

Email and WhatsApp, because nobody logs into a portal daily. Milestones when things go right, exceptions the moment they don't.

Your own login

Every active shipment on one screen, from a phone or a desk. Included with shipping — there's no separate charge and nothing to install.

Connected to the carriers

We pull milestones directly from carrier systems where they're available, so the status you see comes from the source rather than from someone retyping it.

Costs you can follow

Freight, duties, surcharges and fees itemised against the job, so the invoice at the end matches the quote you agreed at the start.

Practical questions

Before you ask.

Does it cost extra?

No. If you ship with us, you get a login at no additional charge. It's the same system our operations team works in — not a separate product we sell on the side.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in a browser on a phone, tablet or desktop. Your Vibrant contact sets up your login and you're in.

Is the tracking automatic, or typed in by hand?

Both, honestly. Carrier milestones come in automatically where the carrier supports it. The rest — trucking, customs progress, delivery — our team keeps current, because no carrier publishes that.

Can my colleagues have access too?

Yes. Tell your specialist who needs a login and we'll set them up — useful when your accounts team wants the documents and your warehouse wants the arrival date.

Have a look for yourself.

If you already ship with us, your login is waiting. If you don't yet, send us a shipment and you'll get one with it.

Not sure it fits how you work? Talk it through with us first.
